The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, His Excellency Admiral Ibok Ette Ibas (Rtd), has announced the suspension of the following:
- Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).
- Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers.
- Governing Councils of different Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.
- Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue.
- All the Boards and Agencies of Health (including the Primary Healthcare Board).
- Primary and Post Primary Schools Boards.
- Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA).
- Rivers State Microfinance Agency (RIMA).
- RISSA, RSBoPP, RSSDA, Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority, etc.
- All the Boards and Agencies of different Ministries, Departments, and Parastatals of the Rivers State Government.
This is in addition to the suspension of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), all Commissioners, Special Advisers, and other political appointees of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
