The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Markets, Chief Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, has extended a warm and heartwarming New Year message to the people of Enugu State, expressing deep appreciation for their resilience, unity, and unwavering support for the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
In his New Year goodwill message, Dr. Mbah commended Governor Peter Mbah for what he described as selfless, visionary, and people-centred leadership, which has continued to redefine governance and development across Enugu State. He noted that the year 2025 marked a significant turning point in the state’s development journey, particularly in the areas of infrastructural renewal, economic revitalisation, and the restoration of peace and order in markets across the state.
According to him, the Governor’s bold interventions in market infrastructure, security, and regulation have restored confidence among traders, improved commercial activities, and ensured a safer and more organised trading environment. He stressed that the peace currently enjoyed in markets across Enugu State did not come by chance but is the result of deliberate policies, firm leadership, and the Governor’s commitment to protecting the livelihoods of the people.
Dr. Mbah also used the opportunity to sincerely thank the people of Enugu State for their consistent support, trust, and belief in the Governor’s administration over the past years. He acknowledged that the cooperation of Ndi Enugu has been instrumental in enabling the government to record remarkable achievements despite economic and social challenges.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Senior Special Assistant urged residents of the state to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, assuring them that the new year holds even greater prospects for development, prosperity, and inclusive growth. He stated that more dividends of democracy will continue to flow to all sectors of the state under the Governor’s purposeful leadership.

Dr. Mbah also encouraged Ndi Enugu to begin preparing to appreciate the Governor’s transformational leadership with their votes come 2027, describing it as the most meaningful way to consolidate the gains already recorded.
