One of Enugu State’s most decorated female political administrators, Chief Engr. Chinwe Mbah (FNSE, M.ENGR, R. ENGR., JP.), popularly known as “Ada Eji Eje Mba”, has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing the protracted internal crisis that has plagued the party. Her resignation letter, dated 25th November 2025, was addressed to the Ward Chairman of PDP, Ukehe Ward 5, in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Widely respected for her administrative ingenuity, organizational depth, and unmatched leadership excellence, Chief Engr. Mbah has, for over a decade, been one of the PDP’s most reliable technocrats in major electoral and congress duties across South-East, South-South, and South-West zones.

Chinwe Mbah, popularly known as Ada Eji Eje Mba, has served the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in an extraordinary range of capacities within the party in most extensive roles held by any woman in the party’s recent history including Chairman of the South-South National Assembly Electoral Appeal Panel (2021); Secretary of the South-West National Assembly Electoral Appeal Panel (2021); Secretary of the Ebonyi State Gubernatorial Primary Electoral Committee (2018); Chairman of the Ebonyi State Congress Electoral Committee for Electing State Executive Officers (2020); Chairman of the South-South Zonal Congress Screening Appeal Panel (2014); Member of the South-West Screening Appeal Panel (2021); Secretary of the Edo State House of Assembly Primary Electoral Committee (2018); Secretary of the PDP Ebonyi State Caretaker Committee (2016); Secretary of the Edo State House of Representatives Primary Electoral Committee (2018); as well as serving three times as Secretary of Edo State Ward and Local Government Congresses, three times as Secretary of National and State Assembly Electoral Primaries, and three times as Secretary of Edo State National and State Assembly Electoral Primaries, all of which collectively underscore her administrative depth and unmatched competence in party management.
