All 25 schoolgirls abducted in Kebbi State have regained their freedom.

The students were kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State, an incident that sparked widespread concern and intensified security operations in the area.

Fresh reports on Tuesday confirmed that all the abducted students have now been rescued. According to security sources who spoke with TheCable, the girls were successfully freed, although details surrounding the rescue operation remain sketchy as of press time. A comprehensive official announcement is expected shortly.

Their release comes barely 24 hours after 38 church members kidnapped in Kwara State were also freed. Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, announced on Monday that security agencies had established contact with the terrorists responsible, leading to the release of the worshippers.

More details are expected as authorities prepare to address the public.
