A suspected vandal has been electrocuted during an attempt to steal armored cables from a transformer in Aba, Abia State.
A video of the incident, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user, captured the tragic moment.
The footage showed the man lying lifeless atop the transformer after being fatally electrocuted.
Residents of the area gathered at the scene, visibly shocked by the incident.
The incident reportedly happened around Obohia Road in Aba.
He died during the operation, prompting reactions from social media users.
A Twitter user captioned the video:
"Is better to kpai on top of a woman than to die on top of a transformer while trying to steal armored cables."
