A former Majority Leader of State House of Assembly in Oyo State, Kehinde Subair, has passed away at the age of 60.
Though the exact cause of his death remains unclear, reports indicate that he died shortly after breaking his Ramadan fast in the United Kingdom.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the news, saying,
"Subair died in the UK, seven days to his 60th birthday. He will surely be missed by the party."
Confirming his passing, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Oyo State, Wale Sadare, told reporters:
"Yes, he is dead, confirmed. But I cannot talk too much now because I am currently in a studio."
