HON. CHINEDU EYA:

Entrepreneur | Real Estate Developer | Technology Investor | Community Development Advocate | Labour Party Candidate

Hon. Chinedu Eya is a Nigerian entrepreneur, real estate developer, technology investor and community development advocate, whose journey reflects resilience, enterprise, innovation and a commitment to creating opportunities for people. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of My Eya Homes, a growing real estate development company with investments and operations in Nigeria and Rwanda, and the Founder and CEO of Suskii, an African technology marketplace currently operating in Nigeria and Rwanda with ambitions for expansion across the continent. He is also the Labour Party candidate for the Udenu/Igboeze North Federal Constituency in the 2027 election.

*From Humble Beginnings to Enterprise*

Chinedu Eya's entrepreneurial journey was shaped by humble beginnings and personal challenges. Following an academic setback in 1998, he embarked on a journey of work, learning and enterprise, engaging in activities ranging from assisting his father with an old Peugeot 404 truck to barbing, poultry farming, trading and other small businesses. These early experiences exposed him to the realities of hard work, customer relations, negotiation and building from limited resources.

Rather than allowing early setbacks to define his future, he transformed them into lessons that shaped his entrepreneurial outlook. He later pursued higher education, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration, while continuing to develop his business interests. His journey from modest beginnings to building enterprises has become a central part of his leadership philosophy.

*My Eya Homes*

As Founder and CEO of My Eya Homes, Chinedu Eya has built a growing real estate enterprise with interests spanning Abuja, Enugu, Uyo and Rwanda. The company's activities include land acquisition, estate development, residential construction, property investment, infrastructure development and property sales.

For Eya, real estate extends beyond property transactions. He views the sector as a platform for creating assets, employment, communities and long-term economic opportunities. His approach combines property development with the broader objective of helping individuals and families participate in wealth creation.

*Technology and the Suskii Vision*

Beyond real estate, Chinedu Eya has invested in technology through Suskii, a digital marketplace operating in Nigeria and Rwanda. The platform is being developed as a broader digital ecosystem designed to connect people, businesses, products, services and opportunities.

Through components including Suskii Marketplace, Suskii Admin and Suskii Errand, the initiative seeks to address practical commercial and everyday needs. Its underlying concept is to connect people who need services with people who possess the skills, time or capacity to provide them, thereby creating additional avenues for economic participation and income generation.

*Human Empowerment and Community Development*

Chinedu Eya's approach to empowerment is centred on sustainability. While recognising the importance of direct assistance to individuals and families, he advocates systems that enable people to become economically productive and independent. His philosophy connects enterprise with empowerment, technology with opportunity, and investment with community development.

His development outlook also places emphasis on agriculture, industrialisation and value addition. As an aspirant for public office, he has articulated a vision of transforming locally produced agricultural resources into finished and exportable products, attracting processing industries, supporting local entrepreneurs and creating employment opportunities within the constituency.

*Public Service and Leadership*

Chinedu Eya's entry into politics represents an extension of his interest in community development and public service. As the Labour Party candidate for Udenu/Igboeze North Federal Constituency, his stated priorities include effective representation, human capital development, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, employment creation and industrialisation.

His political philosophy is strongly influenced by his entrepreneurial experience: that ideas must be translated into practical programmes, functioning institutions and measurable outcomes. He believes public leadership should be people-centred and focused on creating an environment where individuals and businesses can grow.

*A Journey Defined by Resilience*

The defining themes of Chinedu Eya's journey are resilience, enterprise, innovation, capacity building and human empowerment. His story encompasses academic setbacks, early entrepreneurial struggles, business development, real estate investment, technology innovation and an aspiration to serve in the National Assembly.

From building businesses to investing in technology and advocating for community development, Chinedu Eya presents a leadership philosophy built around a simple principle: build people, build businesses, build communities and create opportunities.

His journey, from humble beginnings to enterprise and from enterprise to public service, reflects his stated belief that leadership should ultimately be measured by the opportunities created, people empowered, ideas implemented and institutions built for the future.
