The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, has been declared the winner of the Enugu North LGA Chairmanship Election.
The declaration was made today by the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) Returning Officer, Dr. Chike Udeze, at the Enugu North LGA Secretariat.
Announcing the results, Dr. Udeze declared that Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh of the APC polled 77,365 votes, defeating his closest rival, Mr. Nzekwe Emmanuel of the APP.
The declaration was met with loud cheers and jubilation from party faithful, supporters and well-wishers who gathered at the Secretariat to witness the announcement.
Dr. Onoh while receiving cheers from the teeming supporters appreciated them for the overwhelming support describing the electoral victory as the people's victory.
With the victory, Dr. Onoh secures a second term in office, giving him another opportunity to consolidate on the achievements of his first tenure and continue his development agenda for the people of Enugu North LGA.
