HONOR FOR WOMEN, HONOR FOR FAMILY By Basil Oko, Nwakibie Movement

The true mark of a leader is reflected in the strength of his connection to family.

Men who understand the sacred structure of the family deeply respect the sacrifices made by the women within it. They also recognize the grace, beauty, and vital role children play in strengthening familial bonds.

Chief Uche Nnaji (Nwakibie) celebrates the resilience of women as one of God’s greatest gifts to the family unit. He believes that the success of any society begins with protecting and empowering its most vulnerable, especially women, who rise each day to cook, clean, trade, work, and support their husbands in building multi-income households.

A hardworking woman does more than sustain a home; she helps steer the ship of the family. She ensures education, provides nourishment, and instills moral values in children. A virtuous woman is not only a blessing to her home but to humanity at large. As Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 31, the value of a virtuous woman is “far above rubies.”

Chief Nnaji honors the enduring strength of mothers, those who continue to hold families together even in times of loss, when God calls a loved one home.

In his own words:

"I join all Christian faithful in celebrating women their sacrifices for the family, their patience, their prayers, and their watchful care over children while striving to run small businesses. I am committed to introducing new policies that will alleviate the struggles of women, recognizing them as special gifts from God to the family. Since the family is the foundation of character development for children, strengthening women means strengthening the entire family unit."

Under his agenda, “ENUGU SHALL RISE AGAIN,” Chief Nnaji promises an inclusive government that recognizes and uplifts women across all social strata.

Supporters and fans of Chief Uche Nnaji unanimously affirm: Nwakibie has empathy because he is a family man. He cares.

NWAKIBIE is a name that stirs love, joy, and hope—because he holds mothers in high esteem.

This month, he extends his warmest wishes to all mothers in Enugu State, across all Christian denominations, as they celebrate Mother’s Day on varying dates.
