Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah, paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla (Rtd.), weekend, at his country home in Umuopu, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area.
Governor Mbah described Vice Admiral Ogalla as a sterling example of disciplined leadership, professionalism, and patriotic service, noting that his distinguished career in the Nigerian Navy, which culminated in his appointment as Chief of the Naval Staff, reflected a lifetime of dedication to national security and institutional excellence.
He said Enugu State was proud of the retired naval chief and the values he represents, adding that the state would continue to celebrate sons and daughters whose service to the nation inspires confidence, patriotism, and hope.
The governor expressed appreciation to Vice Admiral Ogalla and the people of Umuopu for the warm reception and hospitality, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to building a new Enugu anchored on service, excellence, and shared progress.
