Enugu State Deputy Governor, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, flagged off All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise in Enugu North Senatorial zone with his registration in his hometown of Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of the state.
The exercise is part of the ongoing statewide APC e-registration programme earlier flagged off at Owo, Nkanu East LGA, by the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah which was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots base through a seamless digital registration process.
Speaking during the exercise, Ossai said the initiative was designed to deepen political participation and ensure that more citizens formally align with the progressive ideals of the APC and the administration in the state.
He explained that the e-registration platform provides an accessible and transparent means for party members and prospective members to register, while also modernising the party’s membership database.
According to him, the APC remains committed to inclusive governance and shared opportunities for all residents of the state, noting that active participation in the registration exercise would further position the party to deliver meaningful development outcomes.
“This digital registration process is an important step in strengthening our party at the grassroots. I urge our people to take full advantage of it and formally align with the progressive vision of the APC and our government, which is firmly rooted in inclusion and shared opportunity for all,” Ossai said.
The Deputy Governor conducted the exercise alongside party officials, youth representatives, women leaders and other key stakeholders, engaging community members on the importance of participating actively in the e-registration process.
He commended party stakeholders at the state and local levels for their efforts in ensuring the smooth implementation of the exercise, assuring that the APC would continue to consolidate its structures while delivering tangible progress to the people of Enugu State.
