Engr. Pastor Beloved-Dan Obinna Anike (Odibochukwu) the Executive Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State is a man driven by a burning passion for service and human development, from his days in Special Science School, where he composed the school anthem that is still being used for over two decades and half now, to his days at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka where he served as the S.U.G President and in many other academic pursuits across the globe, most recently at Turin School of Development, Italy where he graduated with distinction in Social Innovation. As the chairman of his community Umuchigbo, Iji Nike, he built a community secondary school that has now become one of the most populous in the State, he has also served in various positions both in the church and in government with record breaking achievements.
Pastor Beloved-Dan is truly a servant-leader in practical terms, which is visible in his visionary and community driven projects, he has distinguished himself in the church and in politics, the impressive service in the vineyard of God and audacious style of giving, earned him the title: ODIBOCHUKWU by the Christian community, Odibochukwu which means the servant of the Most High is a title that Pastor Dan lives effortlessly in his every day life, always filled with gratitude and seeing everything as an act of God, a man who has been rescued from each battle and continually upheld by God’s mercy.
Today on his 52nd birthday, we his team in Enugu East LGA celebrate our boss, a team leader, a man of immense humility, we thank you for being a pathfinder for Nikeland and a model of what an inclusive and innovative leader can be, for the bold steps in youth empowerment through human capital development, for the over ten deserving noble awards in just one year, for redefining leadership and proving that governance can actually be about the people, for an atmosphere of accessibility and accommodation, we thank and wish you, our mayor a greater heights in sound health. Happy Birthday the face of Local Government Administration in Nigeria and Africa.
