The Wife of the Chairman, Nkanu East Local Government Council, Hon. Mrs. Rita Edeh, has poured glowing commendations on the First Lady of Enugu State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, for her compassionate and heartwarming Christmas celebration organised for children across the state, describing it as a rare display of motherly love and purposeful leadership.
Mrs. Edeh, who spoke with deep emotion, noted that the Christmas children’s party was more than a festive gathering, but a powerful symbol of hope, care, and reassurance to the younger generation that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten. According to her, the smiles on the faces of the children and the joy that filled the atmosphere reflected the genuine concern of the First Lady for the wellbeing and future of Enugu children.
