The political atmosphere in Nkanu West Local Government Area is already charged with excitement as the council, under the leadership of Hon. John Chukwuma Ogbodo, gears up for the inauguration of the Ward and Local Government Caretaker Committees of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The highly anticipated event, scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, will take place at 10:00 am inside the Local Government Hall, Council Headquarters, Agbani. According to the official announcement, the ceremony will be conducted by the State Caretaker Committee, marking a significant milestone in the party’s reorganisation and grassroots revival across Nkanu West.

Onochie Igwesi, anipr, phf, Secretary of Nkanu West LGA, stakeholders from all spheres including political office holders at state and local levels, party faithful, community leaders, youths, women, and residents across the LGA were warmly invited to attend the event and participate fully in what has been described as an epoch-making ceremony.
