The National Union of Market Traders Employees of Nigeria (NUMTEN), Enugu State Chapter, has congratulated Hon. Chief Chinedu Mbah on his appointment as a member of the newly inaugurated Enugu State Committee on State-Controlled Taxes and Revenues.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the union, the State Chairman, Comrade Ezeoha Prince Dr. Pat Eneh, described the appointment as “well-deserved and a reflection of competence, character, and proven leadership.”

Comrade Ezeoha praised Hon. Mbah’s unwavering commitment to effective governance, noting that his administrative excellence and dedication to market stability have continued to support Governor Peter Mbah’s economic transformation agenda.

According to him, the governor demonstrated sound judgment by selecting a leader with deep understanding of market systems and stakeholder engagement.

“Hon. Mbah’s commitment to real governance has consistently contributed to administrative excellence, particularly in the market sector. His pivotal role in supporting the Governor’s economic reforms speaks volumes. In him, the Governor has identified a leader whose track record, competence, and understanding of market dynamics is classical and invaluable to the committee’s mandate,” Ezeoha stated.

The union expressed strong confidence that Hon. Mbah will bring his extensive experience in market administration, dispute resolution, and trader coordination to bear on the committee’s work, ensuring fairness, transparency, and improved efficiency in the state’s revenue framework.

NUMTEN reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with the state government on reforms aimed at strengthening the business environment, enhancing market orderliness, and promoting economic growth across Enugu State.
