BREAKING NEWS!! Enugu State Govt Launches Digital Land Transformation, Orders Revalidation of Surveys in Key Layouts

The Enugu State Government, through the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development and the Office of the Surveyor General, has announced the commencement of a survey revalidation exercise across major government layouts as part of its Digital Land Transformation Programme. The initiative, scheduled to run from August 21, 2025, to February 16, 2026, aims to introduce a tamper-proof, digitally secure land survey system that will enhance transparency, eliminate disputes, and strengthen property security in line with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision of ensuring land title certainty and boosting investor confidence in the state.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNNOUNCEMENT ON SURVEY REVALIDATION AND DIGITAL LAND TRANSFORMATION


In keeping with the Enugu State Government’s policy to guarantee *land title certainty and investor confidence* in the Lands ecosystem, the State is implementing a *digitally secure, tamper-proof survey system* for all Government Layouts including G.R.A., Golf Estate, Golf Annex, Independence Layout, Trans Ekulu, New Haven, and others.


This initiative is part of the State’s *Digital Land Transformation Programme,* designed to enhance transparency, eliminate disputes, and strengthen property security in line with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision for a modern, investor-friendly Enugu.


Exercise Timeline:

Start Date: August 21, 2025

End Date: February 16, 2026


All landowners and stakeholders in the affected layouts are required to visit the designated offices to process their Digital Land Identity and secure their property rights for the future.
