A prominent member of Labour Party has officially decamped to the People's Democratic Party (PDP), citing renewed confidence in the leadership of the current administration. He praised the Nsukka Local Government chairman’s transparency, developmental efforts, and dedication, describing them as key reasons for his return to the PDP. The defection is seen as a strong endorsement of the chairman’s administration.
Chief Jude Ifeanyi Ezema, the Chairman of Isiakpu Youths Association and Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Timber Dealers Association, has officially decamped from the Labour Party to the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking to newsmen in Nsukka over the weekend, Chief Ezema stated that his decision was driven by the impressive track record and exceptional leadership style of the Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area, Engr. Jude Chinedu Asogwa, KSJI.
According to Chief Ezema, “I joined the Labour Party out of the strong desire to see democracy deliver real dividends to our people.
However, Engr. Jude Chinedu Asogwa has proven to me that good leaders still exist in the PDP. His commitment, transparency, and developmental strides have rekindled my belief in the party’s potential.
I am now back to the PDP to fully support the good work of the Nsukka Local Government Chairman.”
This move marks a notable endorsement of Engr. Asogwa’s administration, further solidifying his position as a unifying and transformative leader in Nsukka politics.
