The Executive Chairman, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Dr. Vita Ndu, attends the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) monthly LGA meeting, restating his administration’s commitment to sustainable developments, which will curb insecurity across the LGA. He made this known while addressing the party faithfuls during the monthly meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church Field (CKC), Aguobu-Owa, Ezeagu.
Dr. Ndu expressed profound appreciation to the people of Ezeagu for their continuous support and trust in his leadership. He assured them that his administration will continue to prioritize impactful developmental projects that directly improve the lives of the people.
The Chairman lauded the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his visionary leadership and numerous achievements across the state, particularly in Ezeagu LGA. He noted that the ongoing construction of smart schools will revolutionize learning in rural areas, creating equal opportunities and will bridge the educational gap between the rural and Urban Children.
Highlighting his administration's developmental efforts in infrastructure, Agriculture and social responsibility, Dr. Ndu cited the significance of the road project at Ugwu Nwamgbara, noting its strategic importance as it connects Ezeagu to a neighboring state. “We are not just constructing a road,” he said, “we are connecting our people to opportunities, curbing insecurity and strengthening regional ties". He also highlighted the local government Agric revolving loan scheme for Farmers and the Ezeagu Igbudu Mass transit as people centered initiatives of his administration.
He further called on Ndi Ezeagu to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Peter Mbah's administration, describing the Governor's vision for Ndi Enugu as inclusive and progressive.
In a reconciliatory move, Dr. Ndu enjoined the Party Chairman and his Executives to welcome back former PDP members who had previously left the party, encouraging unity and collective progress. He also acknowledged the relentless efforts of party executives at both Ward and local government levels, thanking Hon. Steve Anibueze, the PDP Chairman Ezeagu, for his dedication and leadership skills
Special appreciation was also extended to the delegation from the state chapter of the PDP Working Committee, led by Rt. Hon. Chidiebere Okoh, for their support and for acknowledging the peaceful nature of Ezeagu.
