ƁREAKING: Enugu State Govt Commences Second Phase of Urban Road Construction Project In Metropolis

The Enugu State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, through the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, has commenced the second phase of urban road construction in Enugu metropolis. These projects aim to improve the state’s infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for Ndi Enugu.

According to a release by the Hon. Commissioner for Works, Enugu State, Engr. Gerald C. Otiji, the affected zones include: Abakpa, Achara Layout, Asata, Awkunanaw, Coal Camp, Emene, Independence Layout, New Haven, Old GRA, Ogui, Thinkers Corner, Trans Ekulu, and Uwani.

“In preparation for the reconstruction, landlords, occupants, tenants, owners of tanks, containers, or shops along the affected roads are advised to remove any structures or properties within the right-of-way or drainage areas immediately.

Motorists and road users are advised to exercise caution and follow diversion and road signs placed at strategic locations.

When driving, especially at night, be cautious and mindful of the heavy-duty construction equipment operating in the construction zones.

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure assures the public that necessary measures have been put in place to ensure reasonable and unhindered movement during the reconstruction period.
