The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Enugu State Chapter, in collaboration with the Enugu State Government and the Nigeria Police, Enugu State Command, is set to host the Security, Career, Leadership & Employability Training 2025—a transformative program aimed at equipping students and youths with critical skills for leadership, security consciousness, and professional development.
Scheduled to take place on the 4th and 5th of April 2025 at 9 AM, this landmark event will focus on the theme: "Re-imagining Leadership: A New Approach Towards Social Security, Accountability, Purpose & Productivity."
The training will feature His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, as the Special Guest of Honour, highlighting the state government’s commitment to youth empowerment and security awareness. This initiative aligns with the "A Tomorrow Is Here" vision, fostering innovative leadership and social responsibility among young people.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, Comr. Ali Cajetan C., Chairman of NANS JCC Enugu and the event's convener, emphasized the importance of this platform in shaping the next generation of responsible leaders. He encouraged all Enugu students and youths to participate actively, stating that "this is where leadership meets legacy, and the blueprint for tomorrow begins."
