Enugu State House Of Assembly Invites Citizens, Stakeholders for Public Input on Landlords & Tenants Charges Bill

The Enugu State House of Assembly has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed Landlords & Tenants Regulated Charges Bill (HB 4, 2025) to allow citizens and stakeholders to contribute to the legislative process. The hearing will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Hallowed Chambers of the Enugu State House of Assembly. Interested individuals and groups are encouraged to submit memoranda, suggestions, and inputs in a well-packaged typed format to Hon. Okey Mbah or the Secretary of the Joint Committee at Room 34, Upstairs, New Building Complex, ENHA, on or before the hearing date.

The public hearing, announced by the Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor JP, aims to promote citizen participation in shaping policies that regulate rent charges between landlords and tenants in Enugu State.
