The Leadership of the 4th Republic Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Enugu State Chapter has recently have a significant familiarization and progressive talk with Distinguished Senator Barr. Okey Ezea, who represents the good people of Enugu North Senatorial District. The discussion which was held at the senator's base at Nsukka centred on the development and progress of the people of Enugu North Zone, mostly the youth. It's an avenue to put heads together with the Federal Lawmaker to initiate strategies and plans to develop the youths of the zone in entrepreneurship sector and to create more sources of employment as a means to enable some of the youths who has no direction to identify and develop their talents and potentials for the benefit of the citizens of Enugu State.
The Assembly understandings the fact that empowering youths through orientation, strategic engagement, and skill developments would transform the lives of the region's youths and the Senator who has also excel in private sector before joining politics has a lot he can transfer from his wealth of experience to bring up young entrepreneurs.
Senator Okey Ezea expressed his gratitude and satisfaction with the vision and approach of YAN Enugu State Chapter, commending their efforts to create a positive impact in the lives of young people. He pledged to fully support the Assembly's activities for the progress of the people of his zone and promised to initiate programs that will further benefit the youth in Enugu North Senatorial District.
The Distinguished Senator also encouraged the Assembly to uphold their integrity, continue to represent the youth positively and speaking out with truthfulness and conviction, avoiding any tendencies that might divert their mission of pushing for the welfare of the youth.
Also in the meeting was Amb. Ezenwata Nwangwu, the immediate past National Deputy Speaker and the National Assistant Secretary of the BOT.
In his remarks, Amb. Chidubem Ugwueze JP, Ambassador of the 4th Republic of Youth Assembly of Nigeria YAN Enugu State Chapter appreciate the Senator's good intentions and plans for the people of his zone. He reassure the Assembly's total partnership with the senator in any plans that will progress the lives of the people of the zone, mostly the youth.
Other delegates includes Christian Ugochukwu Onyeachonam State Speaker Elect YAN, Damian Ugochukwu Ezea Zonal Leader Elect of Enugu North Senatorial Zone and the Leaders of all the six Local Government Areas of Enugu North Senatorial District.
The meeting concluded with a strong commitment of collaboration, for the development and empowerment of the youth in Enugu North Zone and the broader Enugu State.
