PUBLIC NOTICE: Enugu Teaching Hospital Parklane to Dispose Over 300 Unclaimed Corpses

The management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology Teaching Hospital (ESUT) Parklane has announced that the hospital will dispose of over 300 unclaimed overstayed bodies from its mortuary.

In a public notice signed by the Chief Medical Director of Parklane, Prof. Bethrand Ngwu, the hospital said: "This announcement serves as a notice to anybody whose relations or friend's corpse has stayed in the hospital for a period of six months and above, to proceed and claim it."

Prof. Ngwu further stated that: "Failure to do so within 3 weeks after this announcement, all bodies not claimed shall be disposed of permanently, and the hospital will not be held accountable."
