The Executive Chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Hon. Hyginus Ogbonnia Agu, has declared that the people of Udi are fully committed to the re-election of the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, insisting that the council area remains "APC morning, afternoon and night."
The Udi Mayor made the declaration on Monday, 22nd of June, 2026, during the massive inauguration of the Local Government and Ward Executives of G-17 For Peter Mbah held at the Udi Local Government Secretariat.
Speaking while receiving the high-powered delegation of G-17, Hon. Agu stated that the remarkable achievements of Governor Peter Mbah's administration have already won the hearts of the people of Udi, stressing that there is no need for further persuasion.
"We are converted already. Udi is APC in the morning, afternoon and night. Governor Peter Mbah has performed exceptionally well and deserves the support of our people for a second term," the chairman declared to loud cheers from party faithful and supporters.
The council chairman further pledged the total support of the local government for G-17's grassroots mobilisation efforts, assuring that the group would be fully carried along in all political activities within the council area ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event also featured the official presentation of the G-17 Endorsement Register by the Convener, Board of Trustees Chairman and Director-General of G-17 For Peter Mbah, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, as the movement continued its statewide mobilisation drive aimed at securing overwhelming victories for Governor Peter Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The inauguration of the G-17 structures in Udi marks another significant milestone in the group's expansion across the seventeen local government areas of Enugu State as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
