The scholarship, presented during the National Youth Leader’s visit to Enugu, will support the young girl’s educational journey through to university level, marking a significant investment in her future and a shining example of youth-focused leadership.

Ambassador Mrs. Amaka Nweke JP, convener of the Kpakpando Women Support Group, who witnessed the inspiring gesture, commended the NYA leadership for recognizing and rewarding excellence among young girls within her group.

In an emotional reflection, Amb. Nweke described her encounter with Divine Favour as deeply touching, noting that the young girl embodies brilliance, promise, and the very future Nigeria must nurture.

“While in Enugu, I was profoundly touched and inspired by a deeply personal moment that reflects the very essence of our mission. I had the privilege of embracing a young, brilliant, and promising 9-year-old girl, Ugwu Divine Favour Chizaramekpere,” she said.

She praised the National Youth Leader for the scholarship award, emphasizing that such interventions serve as powerful tools for shaping the destinies of young Nigerians, especially girls with exceptional potential.

Amb. Nweke further reiterated her unwavering commitment to supporting initiatives that promote education, mentorship, and empowerment, particularly among young girls across Enugu State.

“This gesture is not only symbolic but a reaffirmation of our collective belief that every child, regardless of background, deserves access to quality education and a future filled with opportunity,” she stated.

The development has drawn commendations from stakeholders, with many describing it as a strategic step toward encouraging academic excellence and uplifting young talents within grassroots communities.

Ambassador Nweke also expressed gratitude to the people of Enugu State for their continued support and shared vision of building a more inclusive and progressive society.

“I remain deeply humbled and sincerely grateful to the good people of Enugu State for their overwhelming love, warmth, and shared passion in our collective quest to birth a new Nigeria, one anchored on unity, compassion, and inclusive progress,” she added.
