A nationally formidable good governance advocacy group, made up of a coalition of seasoned grassroots leaders and advocates for transparent, people-centred, The Integrity Group of Nigeria, popularly known as “The Ambassador for Good Governance”, Enugu State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting transformative leadership in Enugu State, eulogizing Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his inclusive and equitable developmental strides across the state.
The group, during a courtesy visit on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi), at the Government House, Enugu, described the Mbah administration as a catalyst for Enugu’s rapid transformation into a state of hope, economic vibrancy, and infrastructural excellence within two years.
“The journey to Enugu’s stardom and greatness commenced shortly after a man with a Midas touch, Governor Peter Mbah, assumed office as Governor of Enugu State,” the group declared during the visit.
The delegation was led by the State Coordinator of the Integrity Group, Ambassador Prince Emma Efoke, alongside the Secretary of the group, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, who is a former ALGON Secretary and two-term Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government. Their presence underscored the credibility and organizational strength of the group in aligning with visionary leadership that prioritizes grassroots development and citizen welfare.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Prince Efoke noted:
“We are here to attest to the wonders of the developments witnessed in Enugu within two years of Governor Mbah’s administration. Promises made by Governor Mbah have been matched with deliverable actions, bringing hope, relief, and succour to us and the well-meaning people of Ndi-Enugu.”
In his response, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi) expressed deep satisfaction over the visit and the group’s commitment to the administration’s goals, urging them to remain steadfast in their support and advocacy for good governance while serving as a bridge between the government and the grassroots.
“I am very impressed with such a formidable association, especially having a former council chairman like Hon. Pedro Nwankwo in your ranks. His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, is in a hurry to develop Enugu State and put smiles on the faces of every Enugu citizen. I sincerely implore you and other credible associations to serve as a support base to this administration, ensuring that government projects and infrastructures are protected in your areas,” Anioma stated.
The visit further reinforced the Integrity Group’s resolve to continue collaborating with the Mbah-led administration to deepen public trust and participation in governance while promoting policies anchored on transparency, inclusiveness, and sustainability across Enugu State.
