Tension has erupted once again in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area as suspected Fulani kidnappers reportedly ambushed an 18-seater ENTRACO commercial bus en route to Nsukka.
Eyewitness accounts reveal that the assailants emerged from the surrounding bushes, heavily armed, forcing the bus to a halt. In the chaos that followed, one passenger was shot dead while trying to escape while 16 others including the driver were forcefully abducted into the nearby bush. Miraculously, one passenger managed to escape.
