HAPPENING NOW! Enugu Youths Protest Police Brutality, Demand Dismissal of Officer for Alleged Extra Judicial Killing of Nnaemeka Ugwu

 A large gathering of determined youths from Obollo Afor in Udenu local government areas of Enugu North is currently protesting against police brutality, particularly in response to the tragic death of one of their own. The protesters, equipped with banners and placards, are voicing their outrage and demanding the immediate dismissal of Inspector Dumiri of the Area Command in Nsukka. The youth, unified in their call for justice, are marching across Obollo Afor to express their condemnation of the unchecked police actions that have led to this devastating loss.

In addition to their protest, the youth are in the process of submitting a formal petition to the authorities, demanding urgent action. The petition, signed by thousands, calls for a comprehensive police reform, increased accountability, and an end to the widespread culture of brutality and intimidation. The protesters are resolute in their demand for change, as they seek justice for the life lost and an end to the impunity that has plagued the local police force.
